New Colors Mobile

New Colors Mobile is over in Manak Nagar. It is a more residential area, so we do not get the crazy crowds like the city center, which is nice in its own way. The shop is on a corner and has a good view of the street where people go for their evening walks. We keep a variety of mobile things, mostly for the families who live nearby. The shop is painted a bright color, hence the name, though the sun has bleached it a bit over the last couple of years. We have a small glass display for the new handsets and a few racks for the colorful cases that the younger kids like. Manak Nagar is a friendly place and we often spend more time talking to neighbors than actually fixing phones. We have a small rug on the floor that we have to shake out every couple of days to keep the dust away. The ceiling fan makes a clicking sound but we have stopped noticing it by now. It is a simple life here, opening the shutters in the morning and seeing the same familiar faces pass by. We have a few ledgers where we keep track of things by hand. It is not a high-tech operation, just a small business trying to be useful to the local community and keep things running smoothly for everyone who lives in the neighborhood.
