Lucky Mobile Shop

Lucky Mobile Shop is right in the middle of the rush at Sarafa Bazar in Gulmandi. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the evenings. We’ve got this small space filled with all sorts of mobile accessories. There are rows of phone covers hanging on the walls, some with glitter and some just plain black. We also keep a lot of chargers and earphones because people are always losing those or breaking them. It’s a loud place to work, with all the vendors shouting and the bikes squeezing through the narrow lanes. We spend a lot of our day just talking to people who stop in to ask about the latest models or to get a new screen guard put on. Sometimes we struggle to find the exact cover someone wants in the back of the drawer, but we eventually dig it out. The shop doesn't have much room for more than two or three customers at a time, so people often wait outside on the step. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it works for us. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but Gulmandi always stays busy. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in. It’s mostly just us hanging up new stock and trying to keep the dust off the glass cases. Nothing fancy, just a regular shop in a very busy part of town.
