Krishna Communication

Krishna Communication is right there at Bhopalpura Choraha in Shastri Nagar. It’s a busy spot with a lot of traffic passing by all day. We do a bit of everything related to phones. Mostly it’s people coming in for quick recharges or to get a new SIM card. We also sell some basic handsets and accessories like earphones and cables. The shop is small, so it gets cramped when more than three people are inside at once. I spend a lot of time behind the counter looking at the computer screen or my own phone. There’s always someone asking about data plans or why their internet isn't working. It gets repetitive, but that's the nature of the work. We keep the glass cases cleaned as much as possible, though fingerprints are a constant battle. The intersection outside is always noisy with horns honking. We’ve been at this location for a few years now and have seen the neighborhood change a bit. We aren't doing anything fancy here. Just providing the basic services people need to stay connected. Sometimes we help older folks figure out how to use their new smartphones. It’s just part of the day. We open early and stay until the lights in the market start going off. Dealing with different people all day keeps things interesting at least. You never know who is going to walk through the door next with a weird phone problem.
