Our shop is Chaparwal Mobile Care and you can find us on Mahila Ashram Road. It’s a lively part of town and there is always something going on outside our door. The road is narrow and gets packed with people going about their business. Inside, it’s mostly just me and a bunch of tools and phone parts. I’ve got this one small screwdriver that I’ve used for years, and the handle is all worn down. That’s just how things are here. We fix screens and deal with software bugs that people can’t figure out. It’s not a shiny corporate office with air conditioning that works perfectly all the time. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound, but you stop noticing it after an hour. I keep a ledger for all the work we do, writing everything down by hand. It feels more real that way. People stop by on their way to the ashram or the market. We don't do big advertisements or try to sound like a big company. We are just a local shop trying to help folks get their phones working again. The morning sun hits the front glass quite hard, so it gets warm, but we have a bench where people can sit while they wait. It’s a simple, busy life on Mahila Ashram Road. We like it this way and don't plan on changing much about how we work.
