Vainganga Krushi Mitra Producer Companylimited

We started this whole thing in Konda, which is near Pauni. The name Vainganga Krushi Mitra comes from the river mostly, since that is what everyone around here knows. It is just a bunch of us in Bhandara trying to figure out how to handle our crops better. We have a small office here at the village address. It isn’t some big fancy building with glass doors, just a simple place to meet up and talk. Farming in this area is mostly about rice, though it depends on the rain every year. We sat down one day and decided that instead of working all alone, we should just get together under one name. It is hard work, honestly. Some days the weather really does not help, and the market prices are often a mess. We try to help each other out with getting seeds or figuring out where to sell the harvest. Most people in Konda know who we are because we live right here on these same roads. It is not like one of those big companies from the city. When someone has a problem in their field, they just walk over and we talk it out. Sometimes we sit for hours just discussing fertilizers or wondering if the rain will hold up for another week. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. It is just us, the local farmers, handling everything from the boring paperwork to the actual mud and dirt in the fields.
