We started Moil Krushak Sangh Farmer Producer Company Limited because we wanted to do something together here in the Tumsar area. It is based out of Shri Mohanlal Kashiram Jibhakate's place in Dongri. Most of us are just regular folks from the local villages who know the soil. Things around here can be tough, especially when you are trying to handle everything on your own, so we figured working as a group made sense. We aren't big city businessmen. We just stay at our spot in Dongri and focus on what needs doing for the crops. It's mostly about getting the work done and making sure we have a way to keep things moving. Sometimes the weather is bad or the prices are low, but having the company helps us stand a bit firmer. We don't have a big office with fancy chairs, just the space at Mohanlal’s house. People come by when they need to talk about seeds or what’s happening in the fields. It is a simple setup, really. We spend most of our time out there anyway. It is not always easy and we are learning as we go, but that is how it is for farmers. We just keep at it day by day. Dongri is where we live and where we work, so it felt right to keep everything rooted there. There is no secret to what we do, just a lot of dirt and hard work.
