Aarthik Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is at Home No 1226/1 in Sihora, right in Ward No 5. We are near the Bajaj Showroom in Tumsar, so it is a landmark everyone knows. Aarthik Farmers Producer Company Limited is run by a small group of us from the Bhandara district. We spend our time managing the local produce and trying to get everything organized. The office is just a regular room where we keep our files and meet up to talk. It’s not very large, but it serves the purpose. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the farming around Sihora is handled well and that we can get our goods to market without too much trouble. Being near the showroom means there is always people around, which is good for business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the paddies checking the growth. Bhandara is known for its rice, so that takes up a lot of our energy. We have to watch the rains and the pests closely. It is a lot of work, and we don't always get it right, but we keep trying. Most of the people involved have been doing this since they were kids. We are just local folks trying to make a go of it as a group. If you're passing through Tumsar, you can't miss us. We stay busy with the local harvest.
