Tumsar Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at At-Sihora in the Tumsar area. Our office is basically Home No. 1226/01. We are right here in the Bhandara district. This company was formed by a bunch of us farmers who live and work in Sihora. We realized that if we worked as one group, we could handle our sales and supplies much better. It isn't a fancy business with suits and ties. Most of us are in our work clothes most of the day. Our "office" is really just a part of the house where we keep our records and meet up to talk. It’s often a bit noisy with kids playing nearby or tractors passing on the road. We deal with all sorts of farming issues, from seeds to getting the harvest to the right people. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes it feels like we’re always on the phone. We don’t have a big website or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It’s just a group of neighbors trying to help each other out and make sure we all get a fair deal for our hard work. It’s been a learning process for all of us. Some days are tougher than others, but we just keep going. That’s how we do things in Bhandara.
