Most of us here in Shiwaniband have been farming for as long as we can remember. It is what our families did before us and it is what we do now. Sakoli Taluka Krushivikas Producer Company Limited started because a few of us decided it was better to work together than try to handle everything alone. Motiram Tukaram Zode helps out with the space here in Sakoli. Bhandara district is a good place for farming but it has its challenges like anywhere else. We spend our days dealing with crops and checking on the weather. Sometimes things go well and sometimes they don't, that is just how it works with the land. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office with fancy talk. We just want to get the work done and maybe make things a bit more stable for the people living around here. Most mornings you'll find someone around the office or out in the fields near the village. We talk about seeds and what needs to be bought for the next season. It's not a complicated setup we have going. We just try to keep things moving forward. If you come by the house at Shiwaniband you will see how we operate.
