Varsha Sweets & Savouries

Varsha Sweets & Savouries is our family-run shop located on Gheekanta Road in the Sri Nagar area. We spend most of our mornings preparing fresh batches of sweets and salty snacks that people around here seem to enjoy. The smell of frying snacks usually fills the air long before we even open the doors for the day. It’s a small place, and it can get quite hot in the back where the cooking happens, especially during the summer months. We have shelves lined with different types of laddus, barfis, and various mixtures that we pack ourselves. People stop by on their way to work to grab a quick snack or come in the evenings to buy something for their families. We try to keep everything as fresh as possible, so we don't make huge quantities at once. The counter is usually a bit sticky, and the floor needs constant sweeping, but that's just the nature of a busy sweet shop. We’ve been on Gheekanta Road for a good while, and we know many of the faces that come through our door every day. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights, just a simple shop where you can get something good to eat without any fuss. We take pride in the stuff we make, even if the packaging is just simple paper or plastic bags. We hope the flavors speak for themselves when folks take a box home to their kids.
