Annapurna Food Products

Our shop, Annapurna Food Products, is located at number 12, Sukrutam. It’s on 15th Cross in Malleswaram, which is a place that hasn't changed much over the years. We are in a busy part of town, so there is always the sound of scooters and people talking outside our windows. The building, 46/1, is where we spend all our time. We make food that tastes like home. We don't use big fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is just small-scale prep work. The kitchen area gets really busy in the mornings when we start the day's batches. Malleswaram is known for its traditional feel, and we try to keep that going in how we work. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us and a few helpers from the local area. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door when it pours, and we have to put a bucket there, but that’s just how old buildings are. We know most of the people who walk past our door every day and say hello. We spend a lot of time weighing things on the scale and putting them into bags. It’s repetitive work, but there is something nice about seeing the shelves fill up. We aren't looking to change the world, just to keep the shop running and the food fresh for whoever stops by the 15th Cross.
