Vaishnavi Theatre

Our theatre is located at 125 Uttarahalli. It is one of the older single-screen cinema halls left in this part of the city. We have been showing movies here for quite a long time now. The building is quite large and can hold a lot of people, with both balcony and stall seating options. The seats are the old-fashioned kind, they aren't the softest but they do the job for a three-hour movie. We mostly screen regional films, and when a big star has a release, the atmosphere here gets very loud and exciting. We have a small canteen area where you can get some basic snacks like samosas, puffs, and tea during the interval. The restrooms are basic and we try to keep them clean, though it’s hard when the house is full. We have a small parking space in the front for two-wheelers, but it’s always a struggle to fit everyone in. The sound system is quite powerful, so you definitely won't miss any of the dialogue. We don't have the fancy interiors of a mall, but we provide a place for the local community to watch a movie together at a low price. We run the place with a small team of local workers who handle the tickets and the cleaning. It’s a simple, traditional way to experience cinema without any of the extra polish of the big chains.
