Tejas Sweets & Cake Paradise

Our little shop, Tejas Sweets & Cake Paradise, is located at 204 Carter Road Number 7, just off Bannerghatta Road. It’s a busy spot, and we’ve been here serving the local families for quite some time. We started out mostly with traditional sweets, but then we added cakes because the kids in the neighborhood kept asking for them. The shop isn't very large, so it can get a bit tight when there’s a crowd, especially during the festival season. We have glass counters filled with all sorts of things we make daily. Our bakers are usually in the back starting very early in the morning. You can often smell the sugar and the baking bread if you walk by at the right time. We aren't a big chain store; it’s just us and a few helpers from the area. We know many of our customers by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening, but that’s because we don't like to keep things sitting around for too long. We just want to provide something for people's celebrations or just for a quick snack on their way home. The decorations in the shop are simple, and we focus more on the food than the look of the place. It's a humble business, and we're just glad to be a part of everyone's birthdays and holidays here on Carter Road. We just keep the ovens going.
