Srijis Mithai

Srijis Mithai is situated at numbers 180 and 181 on the Bommasandra Jigani Link Road. It is an industrial kind of area, so there are a lot of factories and trucks moving around all the time. It gets very dusty on the road outside. We started this place because we saw how many workers were in the area looking for something to eat. We make all kinds of traditional sweets and snacks right here. The building is fairly large since we have those two plots, 180 and 181. Most of our work happens in the early hours before the sun gets too hot. We have several big vats for cooking and a lot of trays for cooling things down. It is hard work and the floor is always a bit slippery. We don't have a fancy storefront with bright lights. It’s more of a practical setup for making and selling our items. People from the nearby plants often stop by during their breaks or on their way home. We keep our prices where they are because we know people work hard for their money. It is just a regular business in a busy part of town. We keep the doors open and just do our best to stay busy. There is always a lot of cleaning to do at the end of the day to get ready for the next morning. Sometimes we just sit out front for a minute when the sun goes down.
