Sri Venkateswara Sweets And Condiments

Being right near Navrang Circle on Dr Rajkumar Road means we are always in the middle of everything. Our shop at number 2961 is usually a whirlwind of activity. We start making the sweets early in the morning, and the smell of ghee and sugar usually fills up the whole street by 8 AM. Rajajinagar is a busy place, and we get a lot of commuters stopping by for a quick snack. We have the usual stuff like laddoos and various mixtures in big glass jars. The glass gets fingerprints on it constantly, so someone is always wiping it down with a cloth. It is a simple setup with a counter and some shelves. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. Most of the space is taken up by the big metal trays of food in the back. Sometimes it gets so crowded in here that people have to wait on the sidewalk. We try to move as fast as we can, but when the festival season hits, it is almost impossible to keep up with the demand. Our staff has been with us for years, so we all know the routine pretty well. We don't have a fancy business plan or anything. We just show up, cook, and pack boxes until the shutters go down at night. It is a lot of standing and lifting heavy containers, but that’s just how it is for us.
