Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Condiments

If you walk down Mahadevapura Lad Society Road, you’ll find our shop, Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Condiments. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when the smell of snacks is everywhere. We spend most of our day in the back getting things ready. It’s hot work but someone has to do it. We’ve got all the usual sweets and those salty condiments people like to eat with their tea. The counter is always full of jars. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the trays stay full. Customers come in from the nearby houses and the offices around here. Some have been coming since we first opened our doors. It gets a bit loud when the traffic picks up on the road outside. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever walks in. Sometimes we make extra of the popular stuff because it disappears so fast. It isn’t a glamorous job, but seeing people enjoy a simple snack is nice. We try to keep the place tidy but with so much flour and sugar moving around, it’s a constant battle. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just stay here on Lad Society Road and do our work. People know where to find us when they need something sweet. It’s a good community to be a part of.
