Sri Ramji Sweets

Sri Ramji Sweets is situated at number 1 on Varachha Road in J C Nagar. We spend most of our time in the back where the big pans are. We make sweets every day because they taste better when they are not sitting around for too long. The shop has a big glass front so you can see what we have ready. It is usually quite bright in here. We have different kinds of milk sweets and things made with nuts. The prices are written on small cards near the trays. J C Nagar is a fast-moving area, and Varachha Road always has cars and bikes going past. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Some people come in for a quick bite, others buy big boxes for weddings or parties. We just pack them up and tie them with string. The floor gets a bit sticky sometimes if we are not careful, but we mop it often. It is a family-run kind of thing, so we all know what to do. We do not use any fancy machines, just our hands and some basic tools. It is a lot of stirring and waiting for things to cool down. We open up early and close once the evening rush is over. It is just a normal sweet shop in a busy part of town. We stay busy and keep the trays full for whoever comes in next.
