Sri Manjunatha Sweets

We have been over here on Vimanapura Airport Main Road 99 for a good while now. Most folks just know us as Sri Manjunatha Sweets. It is a busy spot with all the traffic heading toward the airport, but we stay pretty steady inside the shop. Every morning starts early because there is always a lot of milk to boil and sugar to mix. It gets hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure the trays stay full. Some days are more crowded than others, usually when people are traveling and want to take something with them. We don't do anything fancy with the packaging, just the regular boxes that hold up well enough. The counters get sticky sometimes and we are constantly wiping things down. It’s just what we do every day. People stop in, pick what they want from the display, and head back out into the noise of the main road. We don't spend much time thinking about being a big business. We are just here at number 99, keeping the stove going and making sure there is enough for whoever walks through the door. It is simple work, really. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the afternoon, but that is just how it goes when things are made fresh. There is always more to make tomorrow.
