Sri Krishna Sweets And Chats

Our place is located at 218 on the National Highway Road 8. We are in the Odhav area, specifically in Sampangiram Nagar. We go by Sri Krishna Sweets And Chats. Being right near the highway means we get a lot of people just passing through on their travels, along with our local regulars who live nearby. We have a counter for sweets and a little corner where we make the chat. It’s always a bit noisy with the highway traffic right outside the door, but you get used to it. We start early to get the frying done before it gets too hot in the kitchen. The pans are always going. Sometimes we run out of things like samosas or pakoras by late afternoon if a big group stops by. We just do what we can. The shop isn't very large, so people often eat standing up or take their food to go. We keep a big container of water for anyone who needs it. It’s a busy life, especially on weekends when everyone is traveling. We don't have a big team, just a few of us handling the orders and the till. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s a practical little shop and we’ve been here for a while. We just focus on the food and making sure the jars are full. It is what it is.
