Sri Krishna Bhavan Sweets

We’ve been running Sri Krishna Bhavan Sweets for a while now here in RMV 2nd Stage. It’s right on 1st Main Adi Kabir Ashram Road in Matadahalli. People usually find us near the ashram area. It gets quite busy in the mornings when we start setting things out. My hands are usually sticky from the sugar before the sun is even up properly. We make a lot of traditional things, the kind of stuff you grew up eating. It’s not a fancy place at all. The floor is old and we have to fix the display case every few months because the glass rattles. Most of our regulars live just down the street. They come in for a quick bite or to take a box home for their kids. We try to keep things fresh every day. Sometimes we run out of the popular items by four in the afternoon and then we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s just how it goes here. The kitchen in the back is where most of the work happens. It’s hot and loud with the big pans clanging. We don’t really use fancy machines, just our hands and some old recipes we’ve always used. Matadahalli 105 is a good spot for us. People know where to find us on Adi Kabir Ashram Road. We just keep our heads down and make the sweets. Nothing too complicated about it. It’s just a local shop trying to get through the day.
