The place is located on R T Street in Vijaya Nagar at number 166/A. It is a simple setup where we spend most of our day. The shutters go up early in the morning before the sun is even fully out. We start by getting the water boiling and making sure the floor is swept. It is not a very big space but there are enough tables for the morning rush. Most people who come in are regulars from around the neighborhood who are just trying to get a quick bite before they head off to their jobs. You can hear the traffic starting to build up outside while we work. The kitchen is small and stays quite hot throughout the shift. We do not have any fancy decorations on the walls. It is just a practical spot for people to sit for a few minutes. We spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and refilling the salt shakers. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to wait around on the sidewalk. It is a bit noisy because of the location but you get used to it after a few days. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It is steady work and we have been doing it this way for a long time now. People know where to find us if they are passing through R T Street.
