Shiva Theatre

Shiva Theatre is located over at 382/49 in the Shastri Nagar area of Koramangala, near Bail Bazar. It is an old building that has been around for a long time. You can see the history in the way the walls look and the way the seats are arranged. It is not a modern multiplex with reclining chairs. We have the old-style seating and a big screen that has seen many films. Running a place like this in Koramangala is a lot of work. We spend a lot of time on maintenance, fixing things that break, and making sure the projector is working correctly. The area around Bail Bazar is always noisy and full of life, which we like. People from all over Shastri Nagar come here to catch a show. We handle the ticket counter and the snacks ourselves. It’s a small team, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded during the interval, and it can get a little loud. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. We just focus on keeping the place running so people have somewhere to go. The street outside can be a bit messy, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the movie. We’ve been at 382/49 for years and don't plan on going anywhere. It’s just a local theatre doing its thing every day.
