Satyas

Our place, Satyas, is located at Koramangala VI Block, on Davis Road in the St Thomas Town area, number 147/D. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because you have the energy of Koramangala but also the older feel of St Thomas Town. The building at 147/D has a lot of quirks, which is a nice way of saying it’s old and has some personality. We have a few floors, and each one feels a little different. We spend our time making sure the tables are set and the staff knows what they’re doing. It’s a lot of walking up and down stairs, to be honest. The area outside on Davis Road is usually pretty packed with cars, so finding a place to park can be a real headache for people. We see a mix of everyone here—students, office workers, and families who have lived in the neighborhood for decades. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just provide a place for people to sit down and have a meal or a drink. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, and sometimes it’s quiet, depending on who is working the sound system that day. We just take it as it comes. It’s a busy life running a place in Koramangala, but being at 147/D feels right for us. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is just our way of life.
