Country Club International

Country Club International is located on the Bellandur Outer Ring Road at 55/1. That area has changed a lot since we first started out. There are massive glass buildings everywhere now, and the traffic on the ring road is something else. We are just a spot where people come to spend some time away from their offices. It isn’t always quiet, especially on the weekends when families bring their kids. We have the usual stuff you’d expect at a club, like the pool and some rooms for sitting. Maintenance takes up a lot of our time. There is always a pipe leaking or a light that needs changing somewhere on the property. We have a crew that tries to keep the grass green, which is hard during the dry season. It’s a big space to look after. We don't try to be too fancy about things. Most of the people who come here live nearby or work in the tech parks down the road. They just want a place to sit or maybe a quick swim. It’s a lot of work running a place this size. We deal with all sorts of small problems every day. But we stay open and keep the gates at 55/1 unlocked for whoever is a member. The staff has been around for a long time and we know most of the people who walk in. It is just a routine for us.
