Black Pepper Lounge

Our place is in Koramangala VI at BK Maruthi Elegance, right on the 11th Main Road in the 5th Block, number 873. It is a busy part of the city, and the street outside is almost always packed with cars and bikes. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We’ve got the kitchen in the back which stays pretty hot and noisy once the dinner orders start coming in. The lounge area has some heavy furniture and we spend time every afternoon making sure everything is straight and the dust is off the surfaces. We get a lot of people coming in after work to vent about their day. The lighting is a bit dim, which helps people relax after being under office lights all day. We see the same groups of friends every Friday night. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but that’s just the vibe we have here. We keep the bar stocked and the menus are usually a bit worn out from so many hands touching them. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know how to handle the weekend crowds when everyone shows up at once. It’s a solid spot in Koramangala where you can just sit down and forget about the traffic outside for a couple of hours. We don't worry about being perfect, we just want people to feel comfortable.
