We are Avant Garde Hospitality Pvt Ltd, located at 48/11 Dickenson Road. Our office is in an old part of the city, and we’ve been here for a good amount of time. We work on different projects related to the food and service industry. It is mostly office work, planning things out and talking to vendors or clients on the phone. The space we have on Dickenson Road is functional. It’s where we do all our thinking and organizing. We aren't a big, shiny corporation with hundreds of employees. We are just a dedicated group of people who understand how the hospitality business works from the ground up. Some days are spent looking at spreadsheets and others are spent visiting sites to see how things are going. It can be stressful when a new project is starting, but we just buckle down and get it done. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements for ourselves. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have heard about what we do through word of mouth. The building here has some character, and we like the neighborhood. It’s central enough that we can get anywhere we need to go fairly quickly. We just focus on the practical side of running businesses and making sure the details are right. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We have stacks of files and a coffee machine that never seems to stop running throughout the entire work day.
