Best Beats Entertainment Co operates out of a small space at T Dasarahalli 37. It’s mostly just a room full of black boxes, long cables, and speakers that we spend a lot of time hauling around. We started this because we all liked music and had some gear, so we figured we might as well make a living out of it. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of our time is spent loading heavy equipment into the back of an old van and driving to different spots around the city. The traffic in Dasarahalli can be a nightmare, so we have to leave early for everything. Our office is usually a mess of wires and half-finished projects. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with nice couches. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us sitting on a crate testing a microphone or fixing a broken plug. We do our own repairs when things break, which happens more than we’d like. It’s a lot of late nights and early mornings. We get home when most people are starting their day. Our neighbors probably wonder what we’re doing with all the noise sometimes. We don't have a big corporate plan. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do right by the people who hire us. It's a lot of lifting and sweating, but we're used to it now and it’s better than sitting in a cubicle all day.
