Chord Road Club

Up in Nandini Layout, the Chord Road Club is where we spend our time. It’s a place that’s been around for the community for a good while now. We don't try to be one of those fancy modern clubs you see in the city center. It’s more about having a spot for people in the layout to go when they want to get out of the house. The building is solid and has a lot of rooms for different things like meetings or games. We spend a lot of time making sure the lights are working and the place is clean for whoever shows up. It’s usually noisier in the evenings when people are done with their jobs. You can hear people talking and the occasional sound of some games being played in the back rooms. We aren't doing anything special, just keeping the doors open for everyone. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know the shortcut paths around the layout. Sometimes the garden area gets a bit overgrown if we don't watch it, but we try to pull the weeds when we have time. It’s a practical space for the neighbors to gather. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People just know we are here on Chord Road. It feels like a second home to some of the older members who have been coming here for decades. We just keep things running as best as we can.
