Sasthas Industries

Sasthas Industries is located over at No. 11/36 on the 6th Cross of Kodichikkanahalli Main Road. Bommanahalli is a busy area, and we fit right into the industrial vibe of the neighborhood. Our space is mostly taken up by machinery and raw materials. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially when the cutters are running, but that’s just how an industrial unit is. We spend most of our hours focused on the production line, making sure the dimensions are right and the metal is sturdy. There’s usually some grease on our hands by noon, and the floor is never perfectly clean no matter how much we sweep. We started this because we knew how to build things, not because we wanted to sit in a fancy glass office. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it feels like a local effort. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a schedule of what needs to get finished by Friday. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which gives us a minute to catch our breath and talk. We handle a lot of bulk orders for other businesses, so there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the gate. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do for a living. We’ve been at this for a while and just keep moving forward one day at a time without needing to be flashy about it.
