Our place, The Club, is right on Mysore Road in Nayandahalli, just across from the Rajeshwari Arch. It’s a big spot, and honestly, keeping it all clean and running is a full-time job for everyone here. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years, with the traffic getting heavier and the metro coming in nearby. Inside, though, it’s a bit different. We have the usual stuff people look for, but it’s mostly just a place for the regulars to hang out and get away from the noise of the city for a bit. The staff has been around for a long time, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s not some high-end, exclusive thing despite the name. It’s more of a local landmark where people come to unwind. Sometimes we have events that get a bit loud, but mostly it’s just quiet afternoons. We spend a lot of time on maintenance—fixing the plumbing or painting a wall that’s peeling. It’s a lot of work to keep a place this size going. We don’t really do big speeches about what we are or what we stand for. If you live around here, you already know. We just keep the doors open and try to make sure everything is in order when people walk in. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done on Mysore Road.
