We are up here on the second floor of Imperial Court. You have to come down Cunningham Road and look for the 24A sign to find the entrance. It is a busy spot in the city but once you get inside the building, things quiet down a little bit. The kitchen is always moving. We have people who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the lunch rush without getting stressed. Sometimes the elevator is slow so people just take the stairs to get up to us. It is not a fancy place but we keep the tables clean and the food ready. We spend most of our morning getting things prepped. The staff usually spends time checking the bags of rice and making sure the vegetables are fresh from the market. We don’t have a big corporate team or anyone doing marketing for us. It is just us working here. My cousin helps out with the accounts and the rest of us stay on the floor or in the back. We see a lot of the same faces every day from the offices nearby. It is nice when people recognize you and just ask for their usual order. We do not really do much advertising. People just find us because they work in the area or they heard about the food from a friend. There is always noise from the street below but you get used to it.
