We’ve been out here on Doddaballapur Road for a good while now. If you drive about 23 kilometers past the main city chaos toward Rajanukunte, you’ll find us. It’s a bit of a trek but the air starts feeling different once you get past the heavy traffic. We spend most of our mornings just making sure the grounds are tidy and the rooms are ready for whoever is checking in that day. It isn't some high-rise glass building; it’s more spread out with plenty of trees that we try to keep healthy despite the heat. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we’ve got the backup running pretty quick. Most people come here because they just want to sit somewhere that isn't their own living room for a weekend. We’ve got staff who have been with us for years, so they know the place better than anyone. You might see us fixing a fence or painting a wall during the day. We don’t have a fancy front desk with people in suits, just a regular counter where we give you the keys. The road outside can get dusty, but inside the gate, it’s mostly green. We keep the kitchen going from breakfast till late, mostly serving stuff that’s easy to eat. It’s just a place to stay and maybe walk around the grass a bit before you have to head back to the city on Monday morning.
