Sandesh Sweets & Chats

Sandesh Sweets & Chats is over in Banashankari 3rd Stage, near the Electronic City side. It’s a busy little corner. We have a counter full of sweets and a spot for making chats. It gets messy, especially in the evenings when the crowd comes in. There’s sugar on the floor sometimes and the smell of spices is everywhere. We don't have fancy packaging. Just simple boxes and paper plates. We’ve been doing this for a while. The recipe for the samosas hasn't changed in years. My cousin helps out behind the counter. We argue sometimes about who’s turn it is to clean the fryer. That’s just how family businesses go. We aren't some polished corporate franchise. We’re just a local shop. The benches outside are a bit wobbly. People sit there and eat their snacks while watching the cars go by. It’s a loud, vibrant place. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of big fans. It gets the job done. We know what people like. They want something quick and tasty. We try to provide that every day. If we run out of milk cake, we run out. We’ll make more tomorrow. That’s the way we do things here in 3rd Stage at number 1. It’s not a complicated life, but we like the work. Sometimes we close a bit early if we're tired. Just come by and check.
