Rockline Cinemas

Rockline Cinemas is located in Jalahalli West, specifically at Old Tharagupet 8. It’s a big building that takes up a good amount of space on the block. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the ticket counter and the snack area. There’s always that smell of popcorn in the air, which stays on your clothes long after you leave. We have to clean the theaters between every show, which means a lot of walking up and down stairs with a broom and a bag. People leave all sorts of stuff behind, so we’re always finding things under the seats. The lobby is quite large, and it can get really loud when a big movie is about to start. Jalahalli West is a busy spot, and on weekends, the traffic outside is a bit of a mess. We just focus on keeping the lines moving and making sure the projectors are running right. The seats are the standard folding ones, and we check them every now and then to make sure they aren't broken. We’ve got some posters up, but they change all the time. It’s a lot of standing around and then a lot of rushing when the crowd arrives. We’re just a local cinema where people come to see a film. There isn't much more to it than that. We open the doors, play the movies, and sweep the floors after everyone has gone home. That’s about it for us.
