Rajdhani Snacklet

Rajdhani Snacklet is right at the Chawrasta on Waghodia Road in Shukal Nagar. Being on a four-way crossing means there is always dust and noise from the cars and bikes. We spend a good portion of our morning just wiping down the counters because of the traffic outside. The Koramangala area stays busy until late at night, so we stay open to catch the people heading home from work. We have these large frying pans that we use for the snacks, and they take a long time to heat up. Sometimes the gas cylinder runs out right in the middle of a rush, which is a real pain. We have a small corner where we keep the flour and oil bags piled up. It’s not a place where you’d sit down for a long meal; it’s more for a quick bite while you’re waiting for a bus or walking to the next street. The tiles on the floor are a bit chipped from years of people coming in and out. We don't have any big advertisements or anything. People just know we are here because of the location. My uncle started this place and now I’m the one doing most of the heavy lifting. It’s basic work, but it fills the day. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy enough.
