Pai Sweet Stall

Vasanth Nagar 1st Main Road 14 is where you’ll find us. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Pai Sweet Stall isn't one of those modern looking places with bright neon signs or anything. It’s just a regular shop with glass counters full of stuff we make every morning. The smell of sugar and ghee usually fills up the air by 7 AM. It gets pretty busy around the holidays, but on a normal Tuesday, it’s just the local folks from around the neighborhood dropping by. They usually want something small after lunch. The building itself is old. You can tell by the walls. We try to keep things organized, but when a big group comes in, it gets a little chaotic behind the counter. We don't do much advertising. People just know where 14 on 1st Main Road is. There’s a bit of a breeze that comes down the street sometimes which helps with the heat from the kitchen in the back. The trays get emptied and refilled throughout the day. We wash the floors every night once the last customer leaves. It’s hard work on the feet, standing all day, but it’s what we do. My hands are usually sticky by noon. It's just how the job goes. We’re just a part of the street here in Vasanth Nagar. No fancy slogans needed for a place like this.
