Orange Chocolate

We’ve been here at 91/3 Basavanagudi Main Road for a while now. Most days it’s just us and the machines humming away. It isn’t some big fancy factory or anything like that. Just a kitchen in the back where we mess around with cocoa and sugar. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky and we have to scrub it down twice. People usually find us because of the smell drifting out onto the sidewalk. It's a busy street, so there's always noise from the traffic. We don't have a big team. Usually, it's just a couple of us making the batches. We don't use fancy machines for everything. A lot of it is just stirring by hand until it looks right. The weather affects how the chocolate sets, which can be a real pain during the rainy season. Some days are slow and we just sit by the window watching the cars go by. Other days we can barely keep up with the orders. We didn't really have a big plan when we started Orange Chocolate. We just liked the idea of having a shop near the temple area. It's a nice neighborhood with lots of regulars who stop in for a quick chat. We don't do much advertising. If you walk down the main road, you'll see our sign. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, but it's where we spend all our time. We keep the counters wiped down and try to keep things organized, even if it gets messy.
