Mangala Sweets & Chats

If you find yourself in Koramangala near the Bhori Jamatkhana Chowk, that’s where you’ll see us. Our shop is at number 20, right in the thick of things where the roads get a bit narrow and the cars are always honking. It’s a lively area, and there is never really a quiet moment from morning until late at night. We spend our days behind the glass counters, moving trays around and keeping things tidy. The air always smells a bit like sugar and spices, which I guess is expected for a place like ours. We have some regular customers who have been coming since we first opened, and they usually stand around the Chowk talking while they eat. It's not a very big place, so it can get a bit cramped when five or six people walk in at the same time. The floor is old stone, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to think about that most of the time. We just keep the snacks coming and make sure the sweets are lined up neatly. Koramangala is full of fancy new places, but we are just a simple shop at number 20. We don't have air conditioning or soft music, just the sound of the street and the people. It works for us, and it seems to work for the people who stop by. We aren't trying to change the world, just selling sweets and making sure people leave with what they wanted.
