Our place is located at B-297 on the 7th Main Road in the Peenya Industrial Area, 2nd Stage. We are Mambalam Iyers Food Products Pvt Ltd. Even though we have a long name, we are just a group of people making food items like pickles, mixes, and other traditional things. The industrial area can be quite loud and dusty, but inside our unit, we focus on getting the recipes right. It’s a lot different from a small retail shop because we deal with larger batches. We have machines to help with the packing, but a lot of the sorting is still done by hand to make sure things are clean. The smell of spices is always in the air here. Sometimes it makes us sneeze, but we’re used to it. We spend our days managing the workers and making sure the supplies come in on time. It’s a lot of logistics, really. We don't have a fancy front office. Most of the space is taken up by the production floor and storage. We ship our products out to different stores, so we don't see the end customers much. But we know our products end up on many dinner tables around the city. We just keep our heads down and keep the production line moving as best as we can every single day. It's a busy factory environment but we try to keep it friendly.
