Mahadev Sweets & Chat

We are located in Nagashettyhalli, right at Manek Chowk 41527. The name on the sign is Mahadev Sweets & Chat, and we’ve been frying up snacks here for a good while. The shop isn’t very large, so the heat from the big iron pans stays trapped inside, making it pretty warm during the afternoons. We start our prep work while most people are still sleeping, getting the dough ready and boiling the potatoes. The counter is usually covered in trays of different sweets, all lined up and waiting. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit, so most of our customers just stand around the entrance or take their food to go. The street outside is always moving, and we get a lot of noise from the nearby market area. Sometimes the floor gets a bit greasy from the frying, so we have to wash it down constantly. We don’t use any fancy packaging, just simple bags and paper plates. It’s a busy life, and your clothes always end up smelling like oil and spices by the time you go home. We don’t really do any advertising; the smell of the food usually brings people in well enough. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, making sure the snacks are hot and the sweets are fresh every single day. We stay open till the crowds thin out in the evening.
