K C Das Sweets Paradise

K C Das Sweets Paradise is tucked away on CMH Road in Indira Nagar, right at number 2. It’s a busy street with lots of shops and people walking around. Inside, it always smells like sugar and milk being cooked down. We spend most of the day weighing out sweets and packing them into those familiar boxes. The glass display cases are always being wiped down because of the fingerprints from people pointing at what they want. It gets really crowded in the evenings when people are heading home and want to pick up a treat for their families. We have a small staff who have been here for a long time, so they know how to handle the rush. The floor is made of stone and gets scrubbed every single night after we close. We don't have any fancy music playing, just the sound of the fans and the traffic from CMH Road outside. Sometimes we run out of the most popular items before the day is even over. It's a nice place to work because people are usually happy when they are buying sweets for a celebration. We just keep everything clean and make sure the shelves are stocked with fresh batches. There isn't any corporate feel here, just a lot of trays and the sound of paper being folded for the boxes. It’s just how we’ve always done things in this part of Indira Nagar.
