K C Das Sweet Paradise

We've been here in Indira Nagar Sakinaka for a while now. Most people know the spot by the sign out front. It gets busy in the mornings when the first batches come out. The smell usually travels down the street. We just keep the counters clean and try to get everyone what they need. It's a small place but we make it work. Some folks come in every single day for the same thing. They don't even have to ask anymore. We just see them coming and get it ready. It's nice having regulars like that. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud but inside it’s just the sound of the fridge humming and people chatting. We don't have fancy chairs or anything, just the basics. If the weather is hot, the fans stay on high all day. We spend a lot of time moving trays around. It’s hard work on the feet, standing there from open to close. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the afternoon and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. They usually understand. It’s just how it goes when things are made fresh. The kitchen in the back is where most of the noise happens. We try to keep things organized but it gets hectic during the holidays. That's when we really have to move fast. It's just us doing what we do every day. Nothing too complicated about it. We’re just glad to be part of the neighborhood here.
