You can find us at 51, on the first floor along Residency Road. It’s an old part of the city, and the building reflects that. The stairs are a bit steep and they creak every time someone comes up to see us. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The rooms have high ceilings, which is nice, but it makes the place feel a bit empty even when we’re busy. Residency Road is always packed with cars and people heading to work, so we look out the window and see the world going by. Our work isn't very flashy. It involves a lot of sitting at desks and looking at technical specs. We have stacks of manuals and drawings piled up on the tables at Iigm Pvt Ltd. It’s a bit of a maze in here. We don’t really have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If the door is open, you just walk in and shout hello. We’ve got a small group here, and we’ve all learned to work around each other’s habits. The light in the afternoon hits the desks just right, even if the fans are a bit noisy and old. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to get these projects finished on time for the people who need them. It’s a quiet kind of life inside the office, despite the chaos of the street just outside our door.
