Gangotri Sweets & Chaats

We are located at High Point on Palace Road. Gangotri Sweets & Chaats has been around for a good bit now. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded very easily. Especially in the evenings when people are leaving work. They stop by for a quick snack before heading home. We have a glass counter full of different sweets. I spend a lot of time cleaning the fingerprints off that glass. People like to point at what they want. The chaat corner is always the loudest part of the shop. You can hear the plates clanking and the water running. We use a lot of tamarind and mint. The smell fills up the whole street sometimes. We don't have much seating, so most people just stand and eat. It’s a very casual vibe. We don't have uniforms or anything. Just us in our regular clothes. My brother handles the sweets and I take care of the savory stuff. We argue sometimes about where to put the boxes, but we get over it quickly. The address is 45 4108/45 if you are looking for us. It’s a bit of a weird number but we are easy to find near the main junction. We don't have any big goals to open ten more shops. We just want to make sure the stuff we sell today is as good as what we sold yesterday. It’s simple work but we like it.
