Fame Lido Cinemas

Fame Lido Cinemas is right by the Ulsoor Model House. It’s an easy place to find if you know the Ulsoor area at all. The building has been here for a while, and it shows in some places, but it still works for watching a movie. We have a few screens and the lobby gets really packed right before a big show starts. The smell of popcorn is pretty much stuck in the carpets by now. We spend our days checking tickets and making sure the projectors are running right. It’s a lot of walking up and down the aisles to check for trash after a movie finishes. The staff here is a mix of younger kids and some older folks who have been here forever. We don't have any big corporate mission. We just want the sound to work and the seats to be okay. Ulsoor is a great neighborhood, and being near the Model House means there is always something happening outside. Sometimes we stand near the doors just to catch a bit of a breeze. It’s a bit old-fashioned compared to the new megaplexes, but people still come. It feels like a local spot. We don't try to be anything else. Just a place to see a film.
