Over in Sampangiram Nagar, things are a bit different than the busier parts of town. We’ve set ourselves up at number 28, and it’s a pretty straightforward place to find if you know the area. The building isn't anything special to look at, just some grey walls and a door that squeaks a little when the wind catches it. We spend a lot of our time inside, making sure everything is organized. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so we usually keep the fans running at full speed. There isn't much in the way of a fancy lobby or anything like that. We just have the space we need to get our work done. The neighborhood around number 28 is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there's always someone walking by or a car pulling up nearby. We've got a routine that we follow every single day, starting with the early morning sweep and ending with locking up the back gate. It's a lot of repetition, but we don't mind it. It’s the kind of place where you know your neighbors and you know which tile in the hallway is loose. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just here in Sampangiram Nagar, doing what we do at number 28 and keeping things as simple as possible. No big deal, we just keep the lights on and stay busy.
