Delhi Sweet House

We have been here on Ulsoor Swaminarayan Mandir Road for quite a while now. Most people find us because we are right near Panara Pole at 12754. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when the temple opens up and the street fills with people. We spend most of our time in the back working on the milk sweets and fried snacks. It is usually hot back there, but that is just how the work goes. We do not really have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the large pots and sugar syrups. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky during a rush, but we try to keep things moving as fast as we can. People stop by for a quick bite or to pick up something for their families after prayers. We do not do anything fancy with the packaging, just the usual cardboard boxes and paper. It is mostly about getting the sugar levels right and making sure the samosas are not too oily. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is bad, but usually, there is someone coming in for a half-kilo of something. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the road is still just as narrow and crowded. We just keep the shutters open and wait for the regulars to show up. It is a simple living. We wake up early, prep the dough, and hope the batches turn out okay.
