Chocolates For All Occassions

Finding us can be a little tricky if you don't know the area, but we’re in Bilekahalli, specifically at 1st stage 223 on the II Main. If you find the lane opposite Hotel Uphar Bhavan on BG Road, you’re basically there. This place is called Chocolates For All Occassions, and it’s where we spend all our time. The kitchen is always a bit of a mess with cocoa powder and wrappers everywhere, but that’s how you know work is getting done. We don't have a fancy storefront with glass displays. It’s more of a workshop where we mix things and let them set on the big cooling racks. The 6th Cross and South Avenue Layout area is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet except for the occasional delivery truck. We spend hours tempering chocolate and checking the temperatures. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out quite right and we have to start over, which is frustrating but part of the job. Our hands stay sticky most of the afternoon. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who enjoy the smell of sweets. People usually call us up or just drop by the house here in Gottigere to see what we’ve finished making. It’s a small operation, run right from this 1st Cross corner, and we just take things one day at a time without worrying too much about the outside world. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
