Buttercup Chocolate Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Jakaria Industrial Estate. If you’re trying to find us at 48/9 on K K Marg, just look for the Jacob Circle area and keep going down M K Street. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Mahalaxmi and the traffic can be a real headache, especially in the afternoons. We aren't a big fancy showroom. Most of the time it’s just the smell of cocoa hanging in the air while we try to keep things cool enough so nothing melts. Dealing with the heat in Singasandra is a constant battle. We have some old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work fine so we keep using them. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out quite right and we have to start all over, which is just part of how things go here. It’s mostly just a few of us handling everything from the mixing to packing the boxes. The floor is usually a bit sticky no matter how much we scrub it. We don't have a big front desk or anyone to answer the phones all day. If you drop by, you’ll probably see us in our aprons. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. It's busy, loud, and smells like chocolate most of the time. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the production going at 48/9 every day.
