Bismillah Sweet Mart

We've been on Chincholi Bunder Road for a while now. Bismillah Sweet Mart is just where we make our daily batches of things. People stop by when they need something for a party or just a quick treat after they finish work. It’s quite busy here in Devarjeevanalli most days. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the shop and there isn't much room to move, but we manage. My dad actually started this whole thing years ago and we just kept it going because people in the neighborhood seem to like the traditional stuff we make. We don't have any fancy packaging or high-end displays. It's just the food and us. The floor gets a bit sticky sometimes during the festival season when we are extra busy. We try to keep things fresh every morning by starting before the sun is even up. If you walk past the shop, you can usually smell the sugar and the ghee from right out on the street. It’s a small place, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We have our regulars who come in every morning like clockwork. It feels like a neighborhood spot because that's really all it is. We don't do much advertising at all. Most people just find us by walking past on their way somewhere else. It’s nice to see the same faces every week. We stay open pretty late too, because that's when it gets cool enough for people to be out walking.
